Hi,
I’m actually from Singapore, and I’m in the Fashion Industry, and as a lady, i have a very normal obsession for shoes.
I’m interested in home shoe making and have been reading alot online about where to start.
My interests are really in high fashion pumps, stilettos, and heels.
1) courses – mostly located overseas (States, Australia)
2) books – have bought a few including Mary Wales Loomis, and considering buying the Bespoke book too.
I need some advice.
1) Where do I buy a set of tools, starter kit tools online?
2) Where can I buy the lasts etc, online?
3) Where can I buy top quality Italian Leather, online? Any good suggestions?
I doubt I can gather the above in Singapore, which is why I’m resorting to online purchases now.
Thanks so much!
Sorry for the late answer.
You can find course infos in the blog – or my website (www.koronya.com), or you can book your date to come and learn in Koronya workshop.
From books I would suggest Tim Skyrme’s book (bespoke shoemaking) – that is a great book for beginners.
1. e-bay is a good source, but there are some online store too.
2. e-bay.
3. I don’t know who deliver to Singapore.. You must be creative with it. I would never buy leather through Internet actually, what I don’t know..
I hope you can find a way to learn shoemaking, not an easy job nowadays.
Dear Sirs
Your website was on the top of my search result for Taylor made shoes.
That is because I critically need to have an anti slippery shoes, I got old Poliomyelitis in my right leg, and I avoid walking over smooth floors, sometimes I do avoid some important visits for that reason.
And I can’t find some thing can help here in Egypt, as I need a shoes that can be really like a car brake, and no matter how does it looks, but not very ugly if possible.
I’m an 49 Y.Old man from Egypt.
I hope I’m clear enough.
Can you help?
Tank you

Do you have any spaces left in either your women’s high heels or mens shoes for November? I took beginning classes with Jesse and Marika and I am very interested in furthering my shoe making knowledge. Please let me know if there might be a space available.
